Spring Break 2005 Airline Q
We're going from Chicago to ORD, and I was wondering if anyone knew what a good fair was.... or if it's too early to buy.

I see one fair for around $250, which is about $50 more than I usually pay, but I've never tried to go at Spring break.

Should I grab it. It is direct, but very late at night, so will have to get a day room for daughter to nap.

Opinions, please.

I don't know if I would be better off to get it now, or wait, because I'm doing this too far out, and the lower stuff hasn't come out yet....

FYI - I have all these FF miles, that are basically unusable, because they will only give me connections, even when I called at the 1 year out mark. And with delays etc, I refuse to play this game with a small child. It's direct connect or bust!

Then I would think about booking now. Find the airline that will give vouchers if the price should drop between now and then. If you wait until it gets real close you may not get the flights you want.

I don't think you will see a lot of price drops these days. Planes are full, gas costs, etc. will not get you a lot of bargains.
