Airline for Seattle to Orlando?

Alaska Air is the only airline (I think) which has non-stop service. Looking at Orbitz it appears to be kind of expensive.

Other flights seem more reasonable, but have a stop and probably a connection. Check out Orbitz or one of the other search engines. Also check out www.southwest.com.

We have always flown Alaska from SEA to MCO in the past, however, this year we are flying AirTran. Got an awesome deal, $184 r/t. booked one way tickets and applied the sunshine coupon so saved $25.00 per person each way.

search airtran coupon to find the link for the coupon.

A nice search engine is kayak.com. They don't snag southwest's prices so you have to check them separately, but for everyone else, it's nice.

I dont have any preference but alaska air is one of the good one. You may try it out. It will provide you with all the required facilities.

Southwest.

We normally get the flight that is Seattle - Phoenix - Orlando. You don't change plans in Phoenix, you're just there long enough to unload passengers, switch seats if you want, and then load new passengers. About 20 minutes, so almost as good as a direct flight.

We have been lucky enough to get fares for $198.00 RT plus taxes ($99 each way).

We've flew with Southwest in Jan 05, April 07, April 07, Dec 07 for Christmas, and April 09.

When we flew from SEA to MCO (and out of PDX and Spokane....we lived in both eastern and western Wa) we would basically go with who ever had the best price...never Southwest as we don't care for them (just our preference). This said we flew Alaskan Airlines/Frontier on many occassions. We also flew on Delta/Ted. I think we did both Continental and American a few times as well, but usually went with Alaskan. Depending on the time of day that we flew we either took the layover in SLC or Denver.

For us it wasn't really a preference of airline as price. The drive to both PDX and SEA were practically the same, so who ever had the best deal was who we went with, unless we were on a timeline then we flew out of Spokane. I agree with the suggestion to look into Kayak for price comparisson!
