Airline comparison site ( I forgot the name!)

I'm sure you're talking about Orbitz (www.orbitz.com).

I really like to use ITA, which is the search engine at the heart of Orbitz: http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/

You can't book a trip from there, but you can check prices easily without all the ads.

Thanks! What a pretty little girl! :0) That is not the site, though! I am not sure the name but it scans several hundred airfares and gives you three or so pages of everything it found. It may not start with an O.. I am of no help, hopefully someone will know which site I am looking for. Thanks! Anne :0)

I use Expedia often and I've also used Orbitz. I've gotten a bunch of results from both and have booked at both sites.

www.SIDESTEP.com This is another site that compares and finds the cheapest flight and more!!!!!

I found SIDESTEP on this board about a week ago. It is easy to use and understand. I now use it all the time.

I would be afraid to install that, or any "free" online program. WAY too many parasites and too much spyware. When someone is offering a "free" download, there is something in it for them. I would be careful before installing this , or any other free thing online. Thanks, but I am just too paranoid about these free things that keep contaminating computers :0(

I also use www.farechase.com. It compares all of the airlines as well as the travel sites (like Travelocity).

I copied this information from the Qixo.com website

So, that is something to look at before booking with them.

The last time I booked air, the fare was cheaper with the extra charge, however last night when I booked, it was $26 cheaper to go right through United. It is always a toss up with airfare, but I always like to look just in case I can save some pennies :0) Thanks for the info everyone!! Now, I need to plan a trip to Disney. Just got back in October, wish I was there again!!!!
