airline cancellation

Delta called me tonight, my 8am flight was cancelled, argh, I am going to scream. Now I lose time at the hotel and at what I am paying I am really upset. sorry to vent here but I had to before I when balistic.
 
USAirways did the same thing to us. DH called their customer service and 1.) got us upgraded to first class on our return flight and 2.) got us each $100.00 vouchers for future flights b/c the airline inconvenienced us.

So, if you want to, call customer service at Delta and express your unhappiness and see what Pixie Dust flies your way.

P.S. B/C of the vouchers, DH and I are taking a third trip to WDW this year!
 
didn't they reaccommodate you on any other flight? and if necessary another carrier? since you are losing time on your vacation let them know about it in no uncertain terms. you are entitled to some compensation from them for this. (unless it is of course weather delayed then they are not but the point of the matter is they can compensate you for your lost time)

Personally I just be glad they called me the night before! I hate to get to the airport for an early flight and discover it is not there!
