We are traveling with my elderly parents from PHL to MCO in December. My Dad has a hard time walking long distances and I am concerned about the walk to and from the gate. I know PHL has electric shuttles just past the security checkpoit that he can take to the gate, but how can I get him from the gate at MCO to the shuttle train that takes you to the main terminal?

Contact the airline and request wheelchair assistance. A wheelchair will (should) be waiting for him at the arrival gate. Have him confirm with the flight attendant when he board the flight that he will need a wheelchair upon arrival.
