When do airfares generally go on sale for travel to LA for travel in September.
Hubby and I have decided to go to either LA or Hawaii next year for our 20th wedding anniversary .

I think the airlines usually go on sale in November. I can't remember if that covers the September travel period or not.
If not November, then late Jan/Feb is the other time that I keep an eye out for specials.


BTW - I just noticed! Is that a BENGAL as your avatar? If so....I'm wondering if we're socially crossing paths elsewhere......

Thanks for your reply @PrincessInOz , Nope not a Bengal , just our gorgeous little girl , she was actually abandoned by her mum and was hand raised from 3 days old, she's now 2

Airfares usually are released about 11 months in advance.

Oh! Just want I wanted to hear! DH has agreed to a trip to Disneyworld and Disneyland in September 2016 (after telling me just before our 2014 trip we couldn't go to the USA again for another 5 years). I'm keen to buy airline tickets asap in case he changes his mind again (or the Aussie dollar drops even further )
