Should I buy now or wait for prices to come down? We are flying out the day before Thanksgiving. I have heard that this is the "biggest" travel day of the year. Anyone have experience with this? IF it is, airfare probablly won't come down right? What would you do?

We are flying from Seattle to Orlando

glad to see you posted here. There's a guy on this board who's very knowledgable. Poor thing we're all bugging him. He'll probably post within a few days.

Good, I can't wait to hear other ideas. We are really tempted to just buy them now but were hoping for better rates.

Go through this board...there are some other threads about airfare. Maybe you can get some idea of what to do before he posts. He usually posts maybe every other day. I sound like a stalker don't I

I would start looking now because with so many people flying it is going to be hard to find a deal for that time.

If you find a great rate book it now!!! They aren't flying as many planes as they used to and more people are flying so you have to act quickly.

Check out Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Side Step, and the airlines you are planning on flying. Sign up for any newsletters or fare alerts that you can. Sometimes the airlines offer a better deal than the agencies listed above.

Realize that sometimes good rates go quickly so don't hesitate if you see a good rate book it because it could be gone in several hours.

It also would be helpful if you posted where you are flying from and other posters can post their information.
