Airfare

Detroit Metro (DTW) is my home. 18-20 hour drive from Detroit to WDW. I want to find cheaper airfare. I'd drive over half way for it! Any ideas? I do love driving, but I want to do a long SWW....and can't factor in driving time with school for the kids. ( They are missing a few days this trip)

Can you post the dates you are looking to travel on and what you consider a reasonable airfare (per person with tax)?

Airtran has direct flights from Grand Rapids to Orlando (MCO) and the rates are very reasonable.

Direct Air out of Kalamazoo is running their Family Ties sale right now. $179/pp and can fly any of the days they fly. The certificates have to be used by October 2012. We are debating using them but they go to Sanford.

Pit is probably the most competitive airport, but it is still 5 hours away.
