Hello. I was wondering what is a good price for non-stop, round trip tickets, from Newark, NJ to Orlando in July?

I was wondering if I should book now for July 2008 or wait and hope for a lower price. The cheapest is saw thus far was $145 including tax.

Yaksack - I don't know if you can go out of White Plains or not, but if so... I got our tickets for $59/each way on Jetblue nonstop. But $145 is a nice fare!!

Hey, we're exit 10. We fly out of EWR also. Last year for 4th of July we paid almost $300 (ack--family reunion on DCL). But we bought one of Continentals trip paks for $100 that gave us a buy one get one free companion and $25 off another ticket + 1,500 miles.

But on an off holiday you can do way better. This upcoming trip we're flying out mid-week, mid-day. Continental $118 r/t. Yes, r/t. I screamed for my dh to come to the computer with a credit card.

You can also look into the Platinum AMEX card that allows up to four buy one get one companion tickets free. We had the card a short time because we were going to DL and they wouldn't let us fly out of EWR to SNA.

OMG! I am so jealous! The best price I can find from Dallas/Fort Worth round trip is $352 right now for March '08.

We are paying 1575 for 4 from Jet blow due to us changing flight from late Spetember to August 21. Anything under 200 would be a great price.

I got $118 RT with taxes and fees from Philly on US Scare. Leaving in 31 days.

One bit of advise when booking airfare, you will almost always get the lowest airfare on Wednesday evenings. I don't know why. Several years ago I read this in some travel magazine article and have been looking at fares once I know my dates of travel. It seems to work a lot of the time. It also depends on how full the plane is at the time you book. Good luck.

We got $ 109 RT pp from LGA (NY) to MCO (orlando) Delta Air. ~ NOW THAT'S EXCELLENT!!! Hard to believe...HUH!

I wish we could fly out of LAG or JFk, but the Belt Parkway scares the heck out of me. It could be a 40 minute or a 3 hour drive.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I was even getting a better price out of EWR, but getting over the TB and GWB could mean lots of TRAFFIC TROUBLE.

Stitchlover, I can not find anything less than $322 from DFW to MCO for January '08! Last year we paid $788 for 4 people round trip!

OMG, when do their fares come out for travel at the end of April?? I would take $49 in a heartbeat.
