Airfare - thanks for the tips!

I had booked airfare on SWA for our October trip in July. I considered the total fare ($546.80 for 4 RT tickets from IND to MCO) to be really good. After reading all the tips on the board I continued to keep an eye on the airfare.

I about fell over tonight when I checked the site and the same flight is now $466.80 total!!

I called right away and they are giving me a voucher of $80 for future tickets!!

I told my DH that means we have to a make another trip to WDW in the next year and he said "We'll see." Yep, we will see - see me going to Disney next year!!

Question about the voucher - she said I'll get it in the mail. I asked for some confirmation that I had called and she said the voucher in the mail is all I'll get and that it is already in the sysytem. Does that sound right? It's all new to me.

That is great news! Nothing like a voucher burning a hole in your pocket to get you back to WDW as quickly as possible!

A voucher in the mail? That is a new one for me.
Usually your old reservation number has the credit attached to it.

Put your old reservation numbers/letter in and see if there is any credit there. That is usually the way it works. If not, then, as the saying goes, you learn something new each day.

Are the reservations still the same? (Probably the this should have been the first question asked, LOL)

I printed it out so I could have a copy just in case nothing arrives in the mail.



I've been tryingto say "Annual Pass" for this year's trip but DH keeps saying no. Poor man, he has so much to learn

hopefully you were issued "ticketless credit" and not a voucher

if it was a voucher, you can only use it to book airfare at the airport, it cannot be used online
