We booked our other ABD trip directly through ABD, and they booked our airfare for us. We are considering booking our next trip through Dreams Unlimited, but we are concerned about the airfare. Will DU refund our airfare if the trip is cancelled? Will they keep an eye on flight prices and help us to get the best deal? Will they try to get a refund or credit if prices lower after we've booked? Thanks!

I booked my last trip with a travel agent and what she did was book my airfare through ABD, and the charge on my credit card showed as ABD not the travel agency so I would have been covered if they had cancelled the trip. I think you should email DU and ask how they book the airfare.

If you book your adventure with Dreams, and choose the air-add on, that is booked direct with Disney. So, in the event the trip is cancelled, you would receive the full refund.

Thx
Pete

Pete- do you know if we can customize our air if we book it with ABD through a TA? I mean choose our Airline, times, number of stops and seats? We currently have AA Gold which allows priority seating, and no bag fees. But that savings could be negated by a " custom air fee" and higher fares through ABD. Couldn't one also roll the airfare into ones trip insurance coverage to protect in the event of cancellation?
TIA for any info on this!

I have yet to do an ABD trip but have been on many escorted tours. I have always asked for multiple options for the airfare through different carriers and have never been denied (so I can pick which one works well, especially if I have a frequent flier card).

my travel agent discussed the flight options with my sister, called ABD and booked it through them. The exact flights and times she wanted. There was no surcharge and the price was the same as booking on our own.
