Airfare. Is. Evil.

Plus, for us we have to factor in a rental car if we fly. We went with a rental one time and solely used Disney transportation. Never again.

LOL export PA! I grew up there. Went to PTHs. Lived right near Westomoreland nCountry Club. Small world!!! We always rent a car but I have found for WHATEVER reason it is cheaper to drop it off at the Dolphin between the weekend. The last 2 years I paid 57.0 for a 6 day rental. Yes you read that right.....Then we walk over to YC (where we stay) and are car- less for the last day at Epcot and departure day we take ME...

Small world indeed, we live near Westmoreland Country Club!!!! Love this school district!

I've priced it @ Dolphin, but it must depend on dates because it was always more expensive for our dates. Great price though!!

I just realized that if I drive an hour to another airport, I'll save nearly $500 and won't have to pay for checked bags! So I highly recommend checking other airports too!

Yes....This. I learned this trick 2 years ago. We always flew out of PHL. Prices were outrageous for that time. I did an orbitz check and BWI came up as within 80 miles. I did a SW search from BWI....turns out BWI is a major hub for Southwest. I can usually (with enough planning) get a flight for $109 one way. No bag fees. The cost of gas, and tolls ads to the price, but it easily saves me $200 minimum each way.

Right now, Spirit has some deals at $83.89 one way... but thats with a $60 fare club purchase, add bag fees, seat selection fees and it ends up at $116.50 pp one way. I think the drive to and from Baltimore is not worth saving $7.50 pp but we'll see.
