I have friends flying out in August from OKC. Anyone know what an "average" airfare would be? She's looking at $290 incl. taxes and fees, pp, on Delta, but she doesn't know if this is a good fare or too high?
I do not know the dates she is going, but has she thought about going out of DFW? I found the middle of the month on AA at $227, leaving and returning on Sundays. Depending on the number of tickets she needs to purchase, that 3 hour drive could save a lot. Sorry if this is way off topic, but I thought it might be worth thinking about.
I know that on Delta to MCO, the layover city is Atlanta. On American, it's Oklahoma City to Dallas, then to MCO. I can't help with the average costs of airlines. We booked our airfare as part of a package. I have discovered with airines, you just kinda have to take your chance because they can and do change often.
