Airfare for New Years Eve Week!

Airfare for New Years Eve week to MCO is so expensive Not sure to wait and hopefully it comes down in price a bit or will it just go higher in price? Never traveled during this time of year so not sure what to do. Thanks for any information you can give

We booked on Jet Blue back in July for about $220 RT out of White Plains. We're still watching the rates, but I've been watching them slowly creep up. I'd be surprised if they fell substantially, given all of the holiday travelers, but I'd love to be wrong!

we also booked in july when SW released flights, have watched to see if we could get low and it has gone up and up. busy busy week to fly

I've also been holding back waiting for prices to go down. I booked last year in Sept but prices are still high. They're about 100.00 more than last year.
