Airfare for end of April question again...

Do any of the airline experts know if it may already be too late to book air from Pgh. for end of April timeframe to get a good rate. USair wants $289 per person. Any ideas if cheaper seats have been sold already or if they have a sale any time soon?

I decided to check on Tampa rates - same dates at the end of April and it was only $178 - why is Orlando so much more?

I have been on every conceivable travel web site now trying desperately to get our college-age son out of Manchester, NH to join us at WDW for a long weekend April vacation.
Maybe it's the spring break week or the Orlando thing, I don't know, but I'm being quoted outrageous rates ($1100) and that isn't even non-stop! When I booked the original flights for the rest of the family last MAY, Delta said it already had an unusually high volume of travelers for spring, 2002..maybe that is it.

In the meantime, a friend just booked delta.com (two days ago) NONSTOP Logan to Orlando for a little over $200....go figure! Her first time logging on to this site. I must be doing something wrong!! I wish us both luck.
