Airfare christmas break week?

I know it will be high but what can I expect. I think we may be visiting family in NY or Ct. So we would leave from there and head to California (disneyland) for the Dec. 27- 31

I'm in the same boat. Our trip is scheduled for the day after xmas to New Year's. CT to MCO. I'm hoping for something in the low $300's which is what I paid last year for Thanksgiving week. I have a jetblue credit and will use all my AmEx points to offset costs. If gas prices keep rising it won't be pretty.

Christmas Break week from the Northeast to SoCal? I'd say you'll probably be looking at between $450-$500. There are non-stops on Delta, AA, and Alaska from JFK to LAX. You may catch a fare sale here or there, but that's going to be a tough week to find a bargain.
