Airbrush makeup?

Patricia Lejeune uses MAC makeup, Anna Wascar uses MAC makeup - in fact, I would say that 99.99% of all independent makeup artists on the planet use MAC. :thumbsup2

Ok, so which is it? Does it or does it not rub off? :confused3

All I know is, my airbrush makeup didn't rub off when I touched it so I had no need to touch it up. And this is a big deal for me because I do not like putting new makeup on top of old makeup :crazy2:

In the end, I think it comes down to personal taste. I wanted a natural look, and there is NO liquid foundation on the market that is light enough for my freaky complexion. So for me, the subtle, flawless, sheer-feeling coverage of airbrush makeup was ideal. I also wanted a natural look with my color cosmetics, but that's just me! Everybody likes a different look, and thank goodness there are so many choices in the Orlando area. :goodvibes

No idea! :) Sorry, just passing on Ana's opinion that she's not against it. I have never used it, and I'm no make up artist! :) However, Lurkyloo looked beautiful :)

Well I am going with Patricia and airbrush. I know I am gonna cry so am worried about not being able to touch it up. I went with Patricia cuz I loved how Carrie looked.

Everyone is different and everyone will look beautiful ~ that's all that matters!

BTW, Carrie ~ you SEWED that Kermit? I am SO jealous. If you ever make a Rowlf one, let me know, I have my wallet ready!

Yes, Ana uses MAC.

No flames, please ~ Ana just asked me to pass on HER opinion. I have no idea.

Gosh, I hope no one would flame you for passing on info.

I just talked to Ana, she also said she forgot to mention that...

...the airbrush is transferable, as any other. It is sweatproof and water resistant and this is why she uses the make up sealer for other make ups, it gives the same finish as the airbrush. It will rub off if you rub it off, it doesn't rub off on its own. Same with regular make up. It will rub off if you rub it off.

There you are!

Good to know it is water resistant. I am a big cry baby and was worried about this when you first passed on Ana's info. I was freaked out about not being able to touch it up so this is good to know I shouldn't have to worry about it. :thumbsup2

I have REALLY pale skin and I love how Patricia made you look awesome without bronzer. I don't think I want bronzer either but I am so pale that I get blown out by the flash in alot of pictures. I usually have to darken most pics that I take so I have a nose....:rotfl: My trial is in Dec so I will let everyone know how it goes. I was gonna buy model in a bottle but from what it sounds like, I don't need to.

Am I too late to post on this topic? I just got back from my wedding and will post all the details soon...in the meantime, Patricia LeJeune did our makeup (me, MOH, BM and MOB) and we loved it!! It was so humid and my airbrush makeup lasted through the sweat and tears. It felt completely natural, didn't rub off and matched my pale skin perfectly. I also have oily skin and didn't feel the need to apply powder - that's huge for me.

I can't say enough about how great these ladies (and their makeup applications) were. I would 100% recommend them. Sorry if this sounds like an infomercial. It was the first time I had airbrush and, as you can tell ;) , I loved it.

I am so glad you posted this. It's good to know that it will last through sweating and tears. It's also good to know about the oily skin. I can get oily skin but I hate powder. I was going to bring blotting paper but it is good to know that I probably won't need them. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear all the details of your wedding!
