What are the pros and cons of airbrush makeup?
I used airbrush makeup specifically because it doesn't look thick. If it looks thick, they're doing it wrong

I want to do this! Does anyone know who does this for WDW??
Carrie, does the airbrush makeup take the same amount of time to apply, or is it quicker or slower?
Has anyone had the Airbrush makeup from Beauty Speciale?

I'm a convert, so I can't really think of any cons. It lasted 18 hours, it looked sheer and natural, and it covered some tough blemishes with no caking. It also didn't rub off on anyone!
For a while there was this myth going around that airbrush makeup doesn't last and it's too heavy and only for TV cameras. Apparently some artists use regular foundation instead of specially formulated (and expensive) airbrush makeup, and that's why they get those results. I've had it done 3 times now and loved it every time. Heck, she even hit DH with a couple blasts from the airbrush, and he couldn't even tell he had it on!![]()
I just want to clear something up for Ana. I know she isn't against airbrush and she WILL do airbrush, she just doesn't believe that it is needed for bridal make up and thinks that it is best to use in a controlled environment, like a studio. She asked me to explain that once the airbrush make up is on, it is very hard to touch up and so if you cry, sweat, blow your nose, etc then you will automatically take some of the make up layers off and the only way to touch it up is to remove that little area and re-airbrush it again. She said that you can't even powder your face for touch ups once it's on. She also said that since she cares about her job she doesn't recommend it for her brides, but that is just her personal opinion. She does offer it, and if it is wanted, she will do it. She also added that she believes that doing airbrush is the lazy way of applying make up as there is no blending, it is just sprayed on, and there are so many foundations on the market that get you the "airbrush" look without it being airbrushed. She said she is still very old school. Not against it in what she believes are the right situations.
Oh I am glad she uses MAC!! That is great make-up. I have seen her work and its fantastic. I have no worries that she knows what she is talkng about!![]()
