We'll be taking along a twin size airbed rather then get the rollaway (for $25 a night) at the Dolphin. I bought and Eddie Bauer Insta-bed with the built in inflator/deflator but now I saw some poor reviews for it. Has anyone used this or do you have one that was okay to travel with and comfy as well?

I think it depends who is sleeping on it, but there really is no such thing as a comfy airbed. We bought one of those deluxe airbeds that raise up to full bed height and even that stunk to sleep on. If it's for kids it might be OK, but keep in mind Disney can be a tough trip with lots of walking and possibly swimming. A good night's sleep is important.

We have a twin-size Aerobed and have used it on many vacations - including several stays at the Dolphin and Swan. Both our kids (both teens now) are comfortable on it and I've also slept on it with no complaints. During the day we'd just prop it up against the wall and it was out of the way.

We have teen DD & DD. Yes we bring an areotype bed with us each time and ditch it at the Dolphin before we retun home.

Last time it was a blow up type areobed with a built in sleeping bag.
Our DD almost outgrew it - but it worked for the week.

We just got a Coleman full twin sized areobed for our next trip to WDW in 2010. We plan to use the Coleman areobed during other vacations before WDW to get our money's worth. The Coleman bed only cost us $19.

You can use the extra pillows off the beds at the Dolphin. Each Dolphin bed has 4 pillows on it (8 pillows to a room).
We bring an extra set of twin sheets.
There should be an extra blanket in the Dolphin closet. If there is not one - call housekeeping and ask for one.

There is plenty of room to set up an areobed or cot in the room between the bed and the window/sliding doors.

IF you have a teen DS & DD - you may be able to get a free cot.
They offered us one to use for free the last time we were at the Dolphin, but our DD wanted the aero bed. Go figure :rotfl:

Maybe I'm cheap - OK I KNOW I am cheap - but if you've already bought it, why not use it? What else are you going to do with it?

We always travel with an airbed because my kids do NOT want to share a bed with each other. We currently have a Coleman twin and I dont think it cost more than 24.99 at Target with one of those foot pedal inflater things...we just ask mousekeeping for extra bedding and they even make it up everyday for us. My son loved it (he was 14 last time we went).
