I have just been diagnosed with MS and will be taking daily injections. We are actually driving to WDW in Dec so no problem there, but I plan to go visit my mom sometime this winter out in CA. I am wondering if it is a major hassle to travel with prefilled injections these days with all the new security. Is the card I got in my kit really going to cut it or do I need something more?

We flew last November with needles for my 5 yr old DD and didn't have any problems. We did have a note from her doctor explaining her condition and the need for them. We had them in our carryon. You could call the air line ahead of time and ask them what you need to do. We were told that we might need to give them to the flight attendant during the flight, but they didn't require us to do that.

Thanks so much for the quick reply!! I will call the airline before I fly.

You could check your airlines website too. Most of them have a statement that says you should have a letter/prescription from your MD that indicates what the drug is and that you need syringes to administer it.
