Air Trans vouchers - Should I Ebay them? UPDATE #6

DH won 4 round trip airline tix through Air Tran through his job last July... they are in the form of 4 vouchers.. good through 7/06.. we were originally going to use them to fly down to WDW (with my dog) but found out that they changed the size limits on the pet carrier that they allowed, nixing that idea... we are now driving...

I've heard that with the Wendys promo there are very limited seats available for vouchers (I presume including ours even though they were not through the Promo)... I was hoping to sell them on Ebay (they are transferable)... whatcha think?? Also, what would YOU pay for them? I'd like to to recoup the Gas $ for the drive down but don't want to GIVE them away either?? I was thinking $100 each?? Is that too much?

To those you PM'd me... thanks for your interest.. however, I may have lied.. I pulled the vouchers out of the safe & read the fine print.. they say non-transferable BUT they don't have our names on them??

I'm on hold with their Marketing Dept now to confirm...

I'd hate for them to go to waste.. maybe DH & I will have to do a 3 nighter in Vegas... Ugh....

They may be the type where you have to make a reservation for someone else.... which involves some trust. Then again, if there are no names on them, maybe you can just give them to some one or sell them, though I am sure that is against the rules in the fine print. It was against the rules of the Wendy's promo to sell those vouchers, but people made thousands selling them.....

UPDATE:
The marketing dept assured me that the tickets could be redeemed by anyone, once redeemed the tickets were non-refundable & non-transferable.

If you PM'd me, thanks for your interest; I discussed it with DH & we decided to Ebay them.

Am I reading your auction correctly that you are currently going to get $201 per round trip voucher? If so, good for you. I can fly for $217 per ticket round trip, taxes included from MSP to MCO, so buying the vouchers would not be a deal for me..... maybe the bidders want to fly cross country or something....

Yep.. you are reading correctly.. I'm sure these bidders are using them for long distance trips... I did actually price a flight from Boston to LA & it was around $700 round trip so they'll make a deal for someone!

Heck, it'll pay for our minivan rental & gas for our drive down & back! What I won't do for that darned dog
