Air Tran question

Do they still serve peanuts on their flights?

Has anyone flown with them who had a peanut allergy?

(I realize people can bring on PB, I am not concerned about that, the allergy isnt that bad. But a whole plane eating peanuts would worry me)

Last time we flew (Feb 09) I think we either got pretzels or little cookies...I don't remember any peanuts. Hopefully someone that has flown more recently will be able to give you a definite answer as to what the snack was on their flights.

I have flown with them 3 times this year and we have either gotten cookies (a.m. flights) or pretzels (p.m. flights) ...HTH

We flew this month and we have peanut allergies. They serve pretzels. We told the flight attendants about our peanut allergies and they seemed surprised. They said they would make an announcement about people bringing their own peanuts, but I never heard one. At least they're serving peanuts.

I flew home Saturday night from Florida and no peanuts on board in either business class coming back or coach going down.

I've flown them several times this year and have always received a small bag of pretzels. On my May 16th flight, they made an announcement that someone with a peanut allergy was on board and for passengers to please refrain from eating any peanut products.

For our flights in March, we were served pretzels.

Saw this and asked on my flight today and presently do not have anything catered to the flights that contain nuts. Coach snacks are pretzels or biscuit cookies at this time

We have flown on about 15 Airtran flights in the past 2 years and we have never been served peanuts or cookies for that matter. It has always been pretzels.
