air tran credit?s

after watching the fares for our aug trip since april with nothing changing

I finally bit the bullet and booked it last week

so now I find the fare went down $23 PP so $46 for the 2 of us
not a big drop but it will help pay for luggage!!!
Ive been reading on here that air tran will give you a credit that you can use

for luggage from what I understand I need to call air tran and they will give me a credit

my ? is how do I use it for luggage--someone once mentioned that they put it on your A+ account

we usually check in and our bags at the airport

do I need to do anything different

You have to call AirTran to get the credit if your airfare goes down. Usually if you checkin 24 hours before your flight online you can use the credit and it will show on your A+ rewards account and you can use it for bag fees. Now if you want to upgrade to business class, then you have to make the phone call. I would try using it online first and then call if you have to.
I have even waited until arriving at the airport to check in bags and they could see the credit and apply it also. It will be there on your account for 365 days for you to use.
