Air tickets over web?

I purchased our tickets over the Delta website and now am wondering if we get the tickets through the mail or what? I got an e-mail confirmation, but that's it so far. It's been a few weeks. Can I just print out what I need from the internet when its time to go?

We always purchase our tickets online. We just bring our confirmation and ID to the airport. The tickets are e-tickets.

The confirmation you received via email is, for all intents and purposes, your ticket. You might receive a copy of that reservation in the mail, but, you will not be receiving "hard tickets".
If you go to the Delta website, you will see what is required to board the plane.

If you are new to purchasing tickets online, make sure that you make your seat selections. I'm not sure how Delta works, but with ATA it doesn't automatically have you do that. It's an option. I love it because you can see what it available, and we always take window and aisle (over the phone, they don't like you to do that). If you didn't make the selections, they will probably do it for you over the phone.
