Air Sick Bags on Mission Space

is it really that bad then?

Well I thought it was horrible Kaylee. The worst part about it was that I felt icky the rest of the evening. Never again. :(

I spoke with a CM while DH & DS went on it for the umteenth time, and he said that they have several clean ups a day. The worst was something like 26 in one day.

I posted this over at the other board, and many people had the same experience.

I saw it on the holiday programme on BBC 1 on Monday night, thought I might go on it when we go next year, the bloke looked as though he enjoyed it!

DS and DH did not notice any when they rode last week!!

I feel guilty now! I hadn't had any breakfast and whilst they rode, I bought myself a Danish from the concession nearby, and sat near the exit of Mission Space thoroughly enjoying my Danish :teeth:
It was most interesting to see the response of the people coming off the ride ;) Great Danish by the way!

Did you have a good time Shirley? I noticed that the weather was a bit nippy down there.

You're right about watching people come off this ride. Fun to sit and observe. I did a lot of that (waiting for DS & DH).

I feel sorry for the people who do barf in flight. It is just a good job you are not in space for real. Imagine...floating sick...

If you do sometimes feel sick on a plane during bad weather I would not suggest you ride other than that give it a go.

I went on it 4 times in a row and by the 4th time i was getting a little bored, not sick.

It is an amazing ride/simulator.
The only bit of advice can give it KEEP LOOKING AT THE SCREEN !!

Motion sickness comes from your body think you are doing one thing and your eyes saying something else and the messages being sent to the brain get confused.

For example in a plane your eyes say you are sitting down and not moving but your body says you are moving.

An idea might be to take motion sickness tabs befor your mission..

All the best

I went on Mission Space this hols with my two of 11 and 8 and we all loved it. Didn't think it was bad at all and can't understand how so many people are ill!!

I'm not the best on simulator rides at all and detest Back to the Future but this was fab.

As poohstix says, the best advice is keep your head still and keep focussed on the screen - no problems!!

Astrid x :)
