I'm hoping Karen or anyone else who has flown Air NZ in their new PE class can chime in and tell me what these seats are like.

I've been googling them and I just can't seem to work out if they have any recline or places to rest your feet.

I'm trying to decide if I should put in a last minute cheeky (probably not high enough) upgrade bid, or flag the idea altogether and put that money towards a few extra souvenirs.

Hi, the seats recline down and out within the hard shell ( designed that way so they don't impact on the person behind). There are moveable beanbags to rest your feet on.

Lovely, although a tad firm.....strange angle, but heaps of leg room, self contained so you cant spread out....

we liked them but they do need a bit more padding for the toosh, so grab some pillows or fold up a blanky...

beanbags for your feet arnt really good, but trust me , its a great product...food spectacular, service was awesome and so friendly, and so much better than VA PE & Qantas PE IMHO.......worth the $$$$ and if you can upgrade (oneup bid) even better....try to up bid to business like we did, so fantastically fantastic..

next trip will be PE ANZ for us, as I may have enough ANZ airpoints for 1 seat...
