we are going with a large group. we are booked for an extended stay at all stars.

in one of the room there will be 3 legal adults. a 19 year old, 47 year old and 48 year old.

the beds are small for two adults. both of the parents are overweight and worried about how well all of them will fit.

i called Disney to ask if there are any issues with me bringing an air mattress and i was told it was find as long as we are not doing it to exceed occupancy. we are not.

so now my question is this
will a twin size air mattress fit into a room at all stars along with the two beds? the rooms are small from what i see online. i am curious if there is a place to squeeze it in

Yes. We stayed two weeks last year at ASMu with my son on a twin air mattress. It was the tall kind almost the height of the bed. It fit fine next to the bed closest to the door. We still had room to walk around it and open the door to leave.

Yes, the air mattress will fit. It might be tight, but a twin will fit.

The Cast Member was correct in telling you that you cannot use it to exceed the room capacity, but it may also be considered against fire code because the space in the room is limited.
You could stand the mattress up against the wall each day before you head out, but if it were me, I would get the kind that is inflatable by a wall outlet so that you can let the air out each day and fill up each night. I would avoid getting one with a hand pump.

I would suggest you move the table and chairs but yes, that air mattress will fit just fine. Putting it under the window is perfect so that's wh the suggestion of moving thing things around came about. We had four adults and one child who, um well, *cough* NO ONE wanted to sleep with so she was dumped on the floor with an air mattress and she, um *cough* ended up enjoying the floor (yes, she scattered herself out onto the floor) after the adults went to sleep.

If you were in a room for 5, why couldn't the child sleep on the Murphy bed or day bed?

You can get a less expensive battery operated air blower - mail batteries to your self or buy them when you get to the value (unless you drive yourself - batteries will alert the plane police to look in your suitcase)
Then you can get a less expensive air mattress and not expressive sheets :)

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-4D-Battery-Quick-Pump/895617 $14.95
OR

mailing from the uk will be very expensive

i am thinking about this and i think an air mattress, sheets, the blower and blanket will need its own suitcase

they are awfully weighty on the websites i see them on

Another thread mentioned that you can rent a rollaway cot for about $50. It is rented out by a third party who will deliver it to your resort and, I think, place in your room. The site mentioned was called nohasslevacations and we are seriously considering this option.
