Can you bring an air mattress or should I just get the rollaway? It would be for a 9 yr old.

We stayed at the RPH last summer and used an air mattress for our 16 year old. We are a family of five. It worked out fine. Just picked it up in the morning an leaned it up against the wall. No trouble at all ;)

We brought an air mattress last summer for our PBH stay. There were only four of us, but my kids don't like to sleep together.

Leaving in 2 days and would love to know how big your air mattresses were.

Thanks for responding Stitchandpooh'sMom. My DS13 is a kicker so we've been having him sleep on an air mattress that is a little bit smaller then a twin size. Just wanted to know how much space we would have. I think DS9 is going to have to sleep on it this time around as DS13 has grown about a foot since we last traveled and used the air mattress. We will be at the RPR.

I think you should be able to fit a twin at any of the Universal resorts with no trouble. Even the values at WDW can fit a twin air mattress, and the RPR rooms are a pretty good size.

Enjoy your trip!

With a twin at RPR you might have to move a few things, not bad though.:thumbsup2

Do you bring your own pumps?
What about linen / blankets / pillows?
So five people will definitely be listed on the booking (for fotl access) even if you dont pay the additional charge for a "bed".

The hotel will provide linens and blankets and pillows for you. Just call star services. Two adults and three children can each get their own key without any extra charges (provided you don't ask for the cot).

Will the rollaway be big enough for a 16yr old girl? She is only small and comfortably sleeps in a single bed at home.
I have twin boys who will be 14, I cant make her share with one of them, they will have to share with each other, we are coming from Australia on a multi leg trip and dont want to bring a mattress with me.

Just had a brainwave, I will order one online to be delivered to HRH.
Will they will accept a package before we arrive?

We have stayed at the RPH 5 times now and carried an Aero bed on the airplane as a carry on bag. They have their own pumps and the new ones deflate just as fast as they inflate. I am 5'10 and prefer to let the kids have the beds with Dad and sleep on the Aero bed myself. Before I leave I put a twin sheet on it and and stuff a top sheet in the bag so all you need is a blanket and a pillow. Hope this helps? Have a great time!

I just booked a room at the Hard Rock and put all 5 of our family on the reservation and requested a roll-a-way. I was told that roll-a-ways were subject to availability!! So we will be bringing an air mattress just in case!
