Air fare with package?

I booked the package with the airfare from American for our trip. When I spoke to CRO they said they are E tickets and we will not actually receive any paper tickets, just take our ids to the airport to check in. Is that correct? excuse my ignorance but we haven't flown since 03 and the TA then gave us the tickets with the final paper work about 6 weeks before the trip. TIA.

Yes, etickets are pretty common now and they just go off your drivers license (but I always have a copy of whatever confirmation I got just in case). Paper tickets are pretty rare now (and most airlines charge extra if you want a paper ticket).

correct you do not need anything. If you are concerned write down your record locator #. Remember to call the morning of your flight to confirm flight time, etc. before leaving....
