Air Fare Prices?

It seems like airfare is going up. Trying to figure out if we should book air now or not. My husband seems to think airfare will go down during the winter. Has anyone else heard of this?

Flying out of Sacramento Airport cost 355.00 now. Just came back from a trip last month and we only paid 203.00. Bummer!

So what do you think?

Airfare does sometimes go down in the winter - we went to WDW this February because the fare was only $133/pp from Philly. This would seem to be only through the early part of the New Year (through perhaps Feb. 15 or so) as late February brings the President's Day holiday and March brings spring break - no cheap fares then!
