My sister is trying to put together a week end trip from 11/22 - 11/24. She wants to fly down and we are desperately looking for cheap airfares. Does anyone have any ideas on who offers the best deals? HELP!!:bounce:

I always book every part of my trip seperately. I go directly to the website of the airline I want to fly and see what flights they have available, on my dates, times etc.
For instance Delta.com, AmericanAirlines.com.
I always compare prices from Logan and a few other airports.
Good luck with your search.

I have also used Travelocity.com, they take some of the work out it for you, but sometimes I can find a better deal directly with the airline.

check orbitz.com too. i have often had good luck with them. :)

You are really late inthe game looking for a deal. You are going to pay premium waiting so long. If you are really looking for cheap and want to chance it, you can check airlines cyber-fares - the last minute fares the Weds. before and see what you can get. Usually very cheap, but then yoyu run the risk of your flights being sold and not having a deal. Your friend might have to bite the bullet and pay for what's out there to be guaranteed a seat.

Great last minute deals from Spirit out of AC, they email me all the time on last minute deals.

I often look for sale fares by using Expedia. From the front page, click on the FLIGHTS tab. On the LEFT side of the screen click on FARE CALENDAR. Enter your info and SEARCH. This will tell you who is running fare sales for your cities and give you the rules of purchase. Choose a carrier and it will give little calendars showing the dates that the fare is available. Be sure to click on more than one carrier even if the fare rules sound the same. Sometimes they offer different dates and you'll get the exact travel dates that you want. Good luck!! :D

Yes, she would prefer to go out of Philly, but AC or Lehigh Valley are not too far away to rule out.

The reason she is planning this sooo late is that she just got a letter regarding a sneak peak of the Osborne Family lights in MGM for passholders. Just came in the mail Friday!! She has never seen them before and since she works in retail, Christmas season vacations are out of the question.

Thanks for the tips. Keep 'em coming!!:D

I come up with a $201, not direct (through Charlotte) on US Airways, using www.orbitz.com . I saw that AP preview also. Sound great. Hope she can go, Colleen.
