looking for may-aug air fare deals

stl-orlando
kc-orlando
tulsa-orlando thanks cmatt

We plan a trip with 4 young ones in late May and will have to drive if we can't find reasonable fares for the 6 of us. We'd fly from St. Louis or K.C. either one but lowest I've seen has been $230 or so per person. I was really hoping for $175 or less.

Hope we're both lucky, cmatt. Post if you find something great please and I will too.

you know I will thanks neighbor keep in touch  :earseek:

I was checking last night, and the sites I checked with only had dates through the first week of May. I am looking for early June. I noticed that IF I were going the first weeks of May ticket prices were about $123 rt non-stop from Indy. Thats just a little more than I paid last year, so I have hope I will get a good price again this year. I think I bought my tickets last year about the first week of Feb.

thats a great price r/t from Indy to MCO Orlando, Fl.

$123 what air line ??? thanks cmatt :earseek: :wave2:

I just used the travelocity lowest airfare feature and it looks like through may all the major airlines have a $123 rt flight out of Indy to orlando. I will keep checking it out to see when the time period is into June, and book then.

Too bad we just couldn't order tickets from Indy to Orlando on a bulk rate! I am price shopping for 5 tickets in July!

I hear you SnowBall!! We're in Lafayette and fly out of Indy. Our group of 4 (maybe 5 if my husband's friend joins us) will be heading down mid-July for the 7 night DCL western cruise and then a week at WDW. It drives me nuts waiting until "good" fares come out. We like to fly ATA and the best they have right now is $224 (ouch!!). I've been spoiled by their deals. My son and I flew to Orlando on ATA (booked in September) last month and only paid $131 RT for our non-stop flights. You know what they say..."all good things come to those who wait".

AirTrans rt KCI/MCO is 165 for my dates. That's about $150 cheaper than AA from St. Louis. Since Breanna lives on one side of Mo and Brooke and Clay live on the other - we live in the middle - we can do either airport.

I know little about AirTran. Are they reliable, etc? I'm going to post this on the Trans board as well. Any info would be appreciated
