Just wondering how generous Walt Disney has been with the air conditioning this year? I realize energy costs are up and we need to conserve to save money, but I'd like to be cool when on vacation. In 2003 many of the restaurants seemed to be cranking up the temp, and gas was only $1.35 or so back than!!

Well I normally freeze inside most attractions at WDW and always take some type of jacket/sweater to wear so I think they are generous. In May it was very warm out but still chilly to me inside.

We just got back today and I didn't think the A/C was cranked up as high as it used to be. As a matter of fact, Monorail Orange didn't even have it's A/C working on Fri., Sat. or today. The Enporium was very warm on Thursday as were a few stores at DTD. The Land was comfortable all weekend.

The Beach Club lobby was actually a bit chilly when we were there a week ago!

My mother mentioned how odd it was to feel the air conditioning outside of some of the attractions and gift shops! WDW definitely has the AC no!

i think that wdw cranks the air up alot at markets so you can feel the cool air when you walk by and that will entice you to go into the store to cool off and browse. Hopefully you will buy something before you leave. I think this is the same thing las vegas does with their slot machines. they have the slots at the front of the casino that pay the most so people see the lights from other guests winning. any thoughts?
