Air Canada Seat Sales Timing??

Does anyone recall when and if Air Canada had seat sales last year for Sept timing? I have booked 2 seats on a Sept 24 - Oct 3 flight using aeroplan bonus points, but I still have to book and pay for 2 more seat to get the rest of family down! If I booked right now, it would be close to $900 for 2 people, so wondering if I'll be able to do better and how long I should hold out hope that that price will come down!!? Thanks, Jo

They used to-came out on Wednesday's.

Now they have changed their booking systems-when you look for seats they give you about 7 pricing options. So, the earlier you book the better chance you have of getting a discounted fare.

Just in the few days that I was thinking about buying the "Tango" priced seats to NB they were sold out (and this was 3 months prior). A few days later the "Econo" seats were sold old. I ended up having to fly into Moncton instead of Fredericton. Grab the cheap seats as early as possible.
