Air Canada flights and Magical Express

Hi There,

I just want to know the procedure with the magical express if flying to Orlando from Toronto. We will pass US customs in Toronto, so does that mean our bags will be handled by Disney all the way to our hotel room? Last year, we were on a charter flight so we had to clear customs, security and get our bags once we got to Orlando. Thanks for any help.

When we flew with AC in February from Calgary, we applied our ME tags checked our bags and cleared customs in Calgary. The next time we saw our bags was an hour after we arrived at the resort.

Even though my family and I have never used Magical Express before, I do know that when flying Air Canada or WestJet from Toronto to Orlando you clear US Customs in Toronto.

We are leaving in a couple weeks from the east coast and we were told that with the new US Customs clearance procedures leaving Canada, we will not have to collect our bags in Orlando like we had a year ago.

As was previously said, you will not have to handle your bags until they arrive to your room at Disney.

I just kinda worry with Air Canada handling the bags. They have misplaced mine in the past. I hate to see them with ME!!

When it comes to losing your luggage, we all can only pray. The ME tags are designed to clearly show they are form Disney, but that won't make a difference as to whether the handlers will lose them. We went last year without any trouble on Westjet.. this year let's see how AC does.
