Has anyone gone on one of the airboat tours to see alligators? If you have what was your experience like?

We tryed them out this Spring. I think we used the Everglades Air Boats, they were Yellow. They will take you thru the Mangroves and out into the glades. The boats were loud and fast but they give you ear protection to wear that makes it bearable. We saw numerous alligators and the gides even would grab their snouts when they approched the boat. Overall everyone enjoyed the ride. The kids were counting alligators along the way to the glades, we lost track in the 100's.

Enjoy:lmao:

We used Boggy Creek Airboats on our last trip. It was close to WDW; I believe it was in Kissimmee. It was fairly crowded. We arrived at 1pm or so and had to wait until the 3:30 boat for our ride. They have a small gift shop, snacks and picnic tables. The ride itself was fun. We only saw about six alligators (including two having a nasty fight!). There is also a swamp buggy tour that you can take, although we didn't try that. The boats are fast and loud, but I thought it would be more of a thrill than it actually was. Plus, the ride seemed to go very quickly after all that time waiting. Still, I'm glad we went but don't know that I'd bother to do it again.
