Air Boat Ride?

Thinking of doing this for DH's birthday in April. We have been to WDW many, many times and looking to do something different. Can anyone recommend a good one? I was looking at Spirit of the Swamp and it has a lot of good reviews.

We have done Boggy Creek Airboats a couple times before and LOVED it! It was a little bit of a drive from Disney, I think about 30 minutes, but it was worth it!

We had a fantastic time at Wild Willy's in St. Cloud on our Christmas trip. The airboat ride was a full hour long (some are only 30 minute tours, and I think Boggy Creek is one of them) so check out the tour length vs. the price you are paying when comparing the various comanies. I believe Wild Willy's has a coupon in the 2013 Orlando Entertainment Book so that might be a good place to snag yourself a discount.

One thing we really like about Wild Willy's were the small boats. Rather than piling 15 or more folks into one large boat, theirs are smaller (6 comfortably, max of 7). The driver was great and very knowledgeable. We saw lots of wildlife and it was just a ton of fun overall.

They have an actual little store/office at the dock with washrooms, etc. (I have read that some operators just bring a boat to a public dock and launch it.....so if you have anyone in your party that needs to use the loo before or after, you are out of luck). After your tour, you get to go in and meet their resident alligators, and get some pictures of each member of your party holding onto them. No extra charge for the gator experience either, its just a little extra something they offer to their customers.

Gina - your trip report was great. Thanks for all the info on the boat tour. I liked Spirit of the Swamp because it said all parties of 4 or more would have their own boat. I will check out Boggy Creek and Willy's.

I *think* that Wild Willy's will also guarantee you a private tour if you have a minimum four people (I am pretty sure they mentioned that to us when we booked, along the line of "We can't guarantee that you will have your own boat because you need four people minimum for that, so you may be put with another two or three guests for your ride"). It would be worth calling to inquire.
