Ahoy November 12th, 2009 Cruisers!!

I am starting to FREAK here! We are quickly approaching the 50-days-'til-we-leave mark and I'm worried I won't get everything done in time!

We are currently refinancing our mortgage and (for some stupid reason) decided to pay our closing costs in CASH, which is tying up all my money for all the last minute things I need to get before this trip!

Would someone, ANYONE, please reassure me that it's going to get done before we go?!

I still need to:

book return flight
book rental car
finish FE gifts


I know there's more, but I can't remember it all!

I sure hope so, because I still need to:
Book both flights
Book both rental cars (going and returning)
START FE gifts

someone pass me the brown paper bag so I can hyperventilate too

ahhhhh... that sounds good. I think we are all feeling the pinch of time. I really wanted to get my documents all in order last week and it did not happen.... maybe this week will be more productive!!!

Hey guys. I see everyone is getting their final lists together

I still have to finish my FE gifts....and....well that's it for me....OK STOP THE DIRTY LOOKS I CAN SEE THEM FROM HERE

Looks like we have a good group for the FE exchange. I will be sending out the final list at the end of next week.

Bracelets are still being made should have them in the next few weeks...well I am off to watch the season premier of CSI Miami whoooo hoooo

I had a weird dream. I think I was visited by the ghost of crew members past! I was in my cabin and it was nice. Later I go back and can't find my cabin so I ask a crew member and they take me to this room that looks like a hallway for a nice cabin except there was no nice cabin. It was just a skinny, skinny room with two tiny beds. Reminds me to check out threads discussing the best crew member gifts....

Hilarious you guys!!! I should be freaking out too but I'm not. Do you think I have lost mind???

BTW, I am much more calm and maybe even less ocd now that my health is getting back in line. I seem to have gluten intolerance(Celiac Sprue). When I stay away from gluten the difference is like night and day. I praise the Lord for his wonderful guidance.

I may even take gluten free liquor and have a little drink with you guys. It would be the first time alcohol didn't make me sick.

Thanks guys!!! I do believe they will be pretty good about providing gluten free food. I have read about it before on threads but haven't had time yet to seek out a specific thread yet.

I had better remind DH to look into airfare!!! He is supposed to get us a great deal through FedEx. That was how we flew our first DCL cruise, Feb 2008. He is still mad about it!!!! Our return home took 19 hours because it was snowing in Dallas. That is rare. We could have driven home, may have been cheaper when you count the cost of airport food!!! The kids were real troopers.

I see you are planning on the Atlantis Aquaventure - If you are planning on the waterslides, I've read you need to be 48 inches tall and I know my 5 year old is not that tall. Just a thought.

Yes, I do know that my DS is not tal enough to do most of the slides at Atlantis. But I'm sure that won't bother him. I will hang out with him in the kiddie section and ride around on the lazy rivers with him while his daddy goes and does the big slides. I might do one or two big slides, but I HATE getting water up my nose so I'm not that big of a slide fan myself.

We are going..... my youngest is 50 inches, but the slides there look like more for adults. They love to swim though so between all the pools, lazy river, beach and aquarium, I am sure it will be a great day. Lynn's husband and I have a room booked together well sorta

Anyone else still have something they just can't come up with a decision on? I am going to Bay Lake Tower(BLT) after the cruise. I can't decide whether to do Sea world on that sunday or just get over to WDW and start enjoying BLT and hit a park over there. I had decided to go to MK instead... but since we are mostly doing shows at Sea World... it would make more sense to do that on Sunday..... and save the quieter weekdays for parks where we ride more. Sea World does close at 6pm and i have a rental car, so we would still enjoy the evening at BLT. decisions, decisions...... I have changed my mind on this one a thousand times!!!

I have started throwing a few things in a suitcase: swimsuits, goggles, coverup, etc. Stuff I know we won't be using around here until next summer. But all the other packing I have to do requires doing laundry...blah!

Glad you got my humor. After I wrote it, I took my 92 year old great aunt to Walmart and worried you might not have enjoyed my humor... haha... but no way to get home to delete it. To clarify Lynn and Phillip went in on rooms with us for CS, one to save them money and two so I would not be afraid taking and doing the CS on my own... a win/win situation.. cheaper for them and safety for me and my two precious girls!!

You will never believe what happened to me today? I was in walmart, just went to the rest room, hit the flush... was zipping my shorts and out flung my cell phone.... flushed it all the way down in a mere second.... UNBELIEVABLE!! So I go tell them so they know why their sewer is clogged in a few hours... and the lady says, "well mam, I don't think we are going to be able to get it back for you." I am like, "i surely don't want it back now " Thankfully I did have insurance on it, but still cost me $50!
