DH just told me that he's taking me and DS for a day at Epcot ( my fav park) after telling me for months that we were bypassing the parks this trip

Awesome Annette. That's how it went for us to. As we got more excited about going the conservative side went out the window and we decided to go for it and stay a night at WDW and enjoy a park for a day.
Only problem is that it makes it even HARDER to wait!

I think we are going to meet up with Jill at the waterlaunch and head over to DTD for a bit. Not sure when you plan on going over but if you guys want to join us we would be ecstatic to have you

The Wonder is currently in drydock in Freeport, Bahamas getting all spiffed up for us!

Does anyone know what is going on with the strike? Some said that the drydock may not be completed by the allotted time due to the strike?

According to the Freeport newspaper, last article on 9/22 said that the union had voted to go on strike but not that they had yet. That is the last article I could find.

How are you guys getting to the port? Since its just me, I had been planning on taking the DCL transfers but was looking at a towncar so I could get there earlier. Its too pricey for just me and I don't want to mess with renting a car. Anyone want to share a towncar? Roundtrip on ****** is $320 for up to 6 people.

Anywho...just throwing it out there.

Also, Glad to hear about the strike. The people on the cruise right after the drydock were freaking out

I don't remember when the Wonder was due out of drydock but I thought we were past the window a bit
thanx everyone for sharing my excitement about Epcot. I was trying really hard to be a "big girl" and not be disappointed about it but it IS my happy place...
I am so psyched

I wouldn't worry at all. I haven't heard anything about the drydock being delayed. In fact, someone who got off the Wonder the day before drydock said that like 2000 subcontractors were getting on in FL that day.

I'm excited to see the new changes.

I don't think so. According to a thread the Wonder did arrive for drydock on time and it is underway. We are far enough out that it won't be a problem for us. If we were the cruise right after drydock I would be a little nervous but I am sure everything will go smooth.

I agree, I'm excited to be on after drydock. The crew will have had a break from their normal routing (even though they work through it) and our ship will be nice an fresh for us with new carpet,paint etc. SOOO excited
