Love the hair extension....it's perfect. All of our firefighters here are wearning pink shirts for the entire month....it was funny to see them going to a first responder call and these big burly guys running in with pink shirts on.....GOTTA LOVE IT!

Thanks on the extension; our hospital raised $10,000 for the Heart Association last month, and we are hoping to raise at least that amount for Breast Cancer Awareness. I want to see a pic of you with the pink tinsel .

Thanks Leanne . I can understand MIA; I have been so busy helping Amanda with the planning I don't seem to have much time to myself. We bought new furniture for our living room and before we had it delivered we did a deep down clean and I am still sore from two weeks ago.......... I think that is the last time I did anything for "me"..........lol. I can't wait to hear about your Thanksgiving trip, I know it is going to be a very special trip. Miss ya too, give me a call sometimes .

We need to try and plan a meet up soon. We live too close to one another not to meet one day. I was left at Epcot alone too . Dale hates being hot so as soon as he can hit the hotel room he goes for it.......

Friday May 28th was the day selected to be our second Dis meet at Epcot. We were up early and ate our regular breakfast. We made it to Epcot at 9:30 and went straight to Soarin' for a FP. We ran into Lisa and her family again after we had our FPs. We talked for a minute then said we would meet up again at the meet. I didn't take a lot of pictures on this day for some reason. Anyway, with FPs in hand we made it over to Nemo and climbed aboard our Clam shell.

After we found Nemo, Dallas wanted to see Imagination. He likes it for some reason, so we went and spent some time with Figment. I'm not that crazy about this ride, don't really have an explanation, just don't care for it. It is in the A/C though so I do have to give it a for that. This is probably the only picture that semi-turned out.

After we were skunked on JI, we were thirsty and wanted something cool. We went over to Club Cool for a blue raspberry slushie to share. Took these on our walk. Dale had to go to the mens room so Dallas and I waited under the trees.

It was now lunch so we went to the Electric Umbrella for burgers. The burgers were still the original burgers so they were still good. We don't like the new ones at all, as I posted from our September mini report, so we won't be getting them anymore. Guess who we ran into at the EU?????? Can ya guess????? Yep, Lisa and her family.


We encountered some of the rudest kids while in line AND the adults were just about as rude. There was some school group there on this day. Anyway, Dale, Dallas and I were in line and as we were getting up to the register to place our order; these kids AND AN ADULT cut in line in front of us . No excuse me, I'm sorry, NOTHING . We moved over to another line and placed our order. The lower floor was packed so we went upstairs to eat and all the rude kids were up there. We ate and left to go get our FPs for TT. Ran into Lisa again and at this point in time I'm sure she thinks I'm stalking her .


We went back to Soarin' and rode it. I LOVE THIS RIDE!!!!!

2:30 was the time for our Dis meet, but Dale and Dallas did not want to go. They went back to the room and I had Epcot to myself, well, kinda........ Now you would think I would have taken LOTS and LOTS of pictures since I had time to myself, but NO .

I walked to WS and stopped in at Mexico for a nice cool boat ride. While in line I saw Becky(ladybugmom)and her family. After my boat docked I need a cool adult beverage, yes a yummy Margarita. I took a leisurely stroll around WS, sat under a tree and watched people for a little, then walked on to France. I had to have a Grand Mariner orange slushie so of course I got one.
Second May Dis meet!!

It was so much fun meeting Bdoria and seeing all my 'old' Dis friends. Leanne and Joe invited Dale, Dallas and I to AKL later that evening so we could check out DVC. I swear one day I am going to buy into the DVC. After our meet broke up I hung out with Lisa and her family. She and John had come to the meet while Hunter and her Mom hung out in FW.

I have to give credit to Lisa for the two previous pictures. I borrowed them from her.......

Lisa, John and I walked back to FW to meet up with her mom and Hunter so we could ride TT.

It was time to say our goodbyes because I needed to meet Dale and Dallas at GF for our 5:30 ADR at Grand Floridian Cafe. Last September this was one of our favorite restaurants and we thought we had found a royal gem, NOT. Like I posted prior, the meals were hit and miss, and this one was a miss.

It is really a pretty restaurant.

If you look closely at my steak you will see it has LOTS of gristle and fat .

After dinner we went back to the room to rest and I fell asleep. We didn't make it to AKL to meet up with Leanne and Joe . We ordered pizza late since our food was not what we expected at GFC.


NEXT--Our last day and lunch with good friends!!!

Great update Dana! It was fun hanging out with you at the EPCOT meet. We rode JI for the first time in July and it's now one of the girls' favorites.

I love the picture of you and Dallas. It's such a great picture.

Wish you could have come over and hung out with us but I understand being wore out and falling asleep while at Disney too. Sometimes a girl just needs a nap.

Great update Dana!!! I wish I coulda been there for that meet. Make it on a weekend next year, and I'm SOOOOO there!!!! Now that we got our AP's back!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! So, am I in the next update?? LOL I don't think we got any pictures that day, but sure was fun!!! It's nice to have some other opinions while shopping, Chris has good taste, but doesn't like me spending too much money. Tyler want everything.....and the stuff I like is a little pricey. Sometimes I win, sometimes Tyler does, and alot of times Chris does. Anyways, it was a very fun day, good company, great lunch.....it was awesome.

At work, they should be able to tell me which branch I'm going to be at once they close ours by the end of this month, then I can talk to my NEW boss, and get my personal time for the MVMCP in and hopefully approved. I'm not usually one for asking for time off....but I really wanna meet up with you guys, I had alot of fun riding rides with you that one day in AK. I wanna do that again!!! I should start my PTR sometime soon, need to go steal some pictures of Amanda and the kids.....so I have them to put in the PTR. Chris has approved where to stay, and they have a military discount again!!!WOOOOT on that one!! LOL Anyways, I'm doped up since I had to go to physical torture today. So it's bedtime!! Love ya girlfriend!!!!

It was fun Connie. I think we all get along so well because we don't have any preconceived ideas about one another, it's the what ya see is what ya get approach to friendship, with a little pixie dust sprinkled on it............ We need to plan a beach weekend!!!!! Just the girls, the bulb just about blinded me, but wouldn't it be fun to have a beach weekend with Leanne, Lisa, Amanda, Lacey, Gwendolyn, you and me. We could have one heck of a wedding planning party...........hmmmmmmmmmm

I wish you could have been there too. I was glad to see that you got your APs back; now you can meet us there every time we come down . I have a hard time with the shopping too. I always want the stuff that costs too much too. I want to get the whole kithchen dishes sets.

I know you will be glad when they get your job settled. There is nothing worse than being in limbo and not knowing where you are going to be working. We did settle on the 9th right??? I will have to go back and see if that was the night that fit our schedule. I have some Universal tickets now so we are going to have to pick a day to go over there. I can't wait to see you again, miss ya girl .

Thanks Connie. I wasn't crazy about getting the sectional, but Dale has been wanting one for a long time so I gave in. It took us all day to clean the carpet, the walls, move out the old furniture and rearrange the whole room. I am still having a hard time getting used to the way it is laid out now.

I know what you mean about disrespectful mouths . Tyler is my disrespectful child and I have threatened to lock him out of the house.

I think a girls weekend away would be just what the doctor ordered. Let the men get a good taste of what their life would be like if we weren't there .

I couldn't believe we didn't get more pictures either. I don't think anybody took a picture Saturday when Christie, Leanne and I met up at DTD . It was extremely hot.

When we ate at GFC last September it was fantastic. I was really surprised that the steak was not so good this time . The rest of the meal with pretty good though.
