Getting ready for our first cruise, Magic April 27, and I was just wondering. When the ship sails does anyone throw out those streamers and such that you see in the old movies?? Was at the local 5$10 store and saw them on sale. Is it allowed or do people do it anyway?

There are streamers at the deck party as you sail away, but they stay ON the ship. Don't throw anything overboard, that's a big no-no.

There are plenty of streamers and bubbles at the sailaway party so I wouldn't bother with bringing any yourself.
