Day 2
We started off the day at Goofys Kitchen. That was so much fun. There were lots of characters there, including Goofy, Pluto, Max, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Chip and Dale, and Baloo. We showed up 20 minutes early, and got in within 5 minutes.
The food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was so much fun. The characters did the Macarena, and the pot banging. I ate not much breakfast, and too much dessert!
Then we spent some time looking around the DLHotel. Very nice. I like all the art work, the Disneyland display of old stuff--including Walts nametag! It is neat in there.
Then we headed over to California Adventure. We went to the Aladdin show--wonderful as always! It is such a great show. We had great seats, 2nd row in the second section, so we could see the parade of elephants etc.. come in and see them right up close.
Went on GRR 2x and got totally wet, fun. Did some rides on PPier. I went on California Screaming. I will never, ever, ever do that again!! I spent the whole ride with my eyes closed, breathing like I was in labor!! I am not a huge ride person, but decided that yes, I would do it this time. Ugh. I was just shaking when I got off! BTW, my kids, 7 and 10, loved it.....
Then for something calmer, we watched "Its tough to be a bug." So cute.
Ate lunch at Taste Pilots Grill, how fun is it to order on a computer! Got our food, and staked out a spot for the BPBash. We had Toy Story in front of us, very cool. All I can say is, you have to be in very very good shape to be able to dance in that parade!!
Did Soarin', very good, but kinda left me woozy too!
Animation Building, did the who are you like (DS7 is Timon, DD10 is Mrs. Potts)
Turtle Talk with Crush is soooooo neat! My kids were to shy to ask questions, but it was really neat. We hope to do it again tomorrow.
We shopped a bit too.
Then we watched Fantasmic! It was drizzling rain, and we got wet, but it was totally worth it! And they even did Fireworks, which we were very surprised at.
Then we did the Jungle Cruise, you were all right, it is great at night! Our skipper was really funny too.
Walked to IASW, saw the beautiful lights on it, but decided not to go on it, as the line up was huge.
As we walked by the castle, I swear I could smell wet cats. I have heard there are cats living in there, and it totally smelled like it!!
Took the shuttle back to the hotel, we were all exhausted. DS7 even fell asleep!
Great day!
:flower:

It was lots of fun.

Sounds like you had a full, wonderful day. Not sure what wet cats smell like??? Anyway, thanks for sharing. :flower:

Sounds like a wonderful day. There are cats all over Disneyland. Usually, we get visitors when we sit in the back area of Hungry Bear during non-busy times. They are very friendly and sometimes we even see new born kittens. So cute. :)

We looked for cats, but didn't see any.
Lots of birds though!
