We leave at 7:30 a.m. and my DD (4) just threw up in her bed. So, now instead of getting some sleep, I'm washing her pillow that she HAS TO HAVE. I'm praying that it's only a 24 hr. bug and she'll feel better tomorrow. I felt so bad for her. She started crying because she thought we wouldn't go to Disney now because she's sick. I think we got her to understand we would still go and she should be better by morning ( I hope). What a way to start the vacation.

The same exact thing happened to us two weeks ago. Fortunately it only lasted about 8 hours. I ended up getting it also while at disney. Again, it only lasted about 8 hours but I didn't want to eat for about 24 hours. All the kids around here seem to be getting it but none last too long.

I'm so sorry! I hope your daughter feels better and that you have a wonderful vacation! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I am so sorry! I am hoping the sick bug doesn't hit here! We all had the stomach bug about a week ago.. The mantra... It's just a short one... It's just a short one.....

pixie dust sent your way! hope things work out for you

We had 63 kids out of our school a couple weeks ago with the stomache flu. Most kids were over it with in about 8-12 hrs. It really sucked!

DS did this in January--was up 3 times during the night 24 hours before we were to leave. Then when he finally went back to sleep, it was all done. I actually chalked it up to nerves about the upcoming trip, because it did not happen again, and neither DH nor I got anything.

Good Luck, and I hope she bounces back quickly.

The same thing happened the day before we left on our trip one year ago. Our DS threw up, but fortunately it went away as fast as it came on. Good luck and I hope your DD is feeling much better.

Hope she is feeling better. It could be nerves. On our trip down to Disney, I got sick. Just once though and was better the next morning. I think all the excitement got me. I'm such a kid!!

Hopefully it will just be a 24 hour bug, or even nervous excitement. When we went last summer ds (2) threw up on both of us as the plane was landing. As soon as we got to the airport I cleaned both of us up, unfortumately that was at 9 AM and we didn't get into our room until 3:30 pm. So if you were at the GF and smelled two sour people last August that was us! My dd (5) threw up later in the week at Tony' Town Square restaurant about 15 minutes before our PS. She actually felt better afterwards (although she didn't eat) and stayed to watch the parade. You never know with kids. Luckily both of our episodes were short lived but still ingrained in my memory.
