I just put a countdown to the event counter up and it says 18 days...how did that happen????

I have in mind 30 days because , you know...August to September, that is a month, right?

The Ray keeps telling me, "you better organize those pins"
, I keep saying "Get off my back dude, I have plenty of time!'

ACK! I better organize those pins!

Hi Lynnie I think you better organize the pins. If there is one thing I cant stand is people that open their books and they are not organized. :p

But then again I always say a clean pinbook is a sign of a sick mind. :teeth:

So remember first organize them by Major Parks DLR first as they were the original, then WDW.

Then by Sub Park DL then California Adventure, then Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, and AK.

Then by Resort followed by LE size the wants versus trade size, then a seperate section for Auction pins followed by cost versus tradability.

Just use my formula and you will fine

Pin location = (Park+Location)*LE size// %20 Pinpics Location code@ (resort vs LE size) &(% size of Auction cost vs paypal payment)= Where it will go in my book

See simple :teeth:

Or just toss the suckers into fishing tackle box and be done with it.

ROTF

I had a different method, but I think yours works. Right now, they are not in any order...unless you call in various boxes through out the house, on various shelves of the computer cabinet thing, tossed in two different pin books (not placed in place with the pin back, I mean tossed in), under the computer cabinet and under my bed being in some kind of order.

Now that I wrote this no one will trade with me because they will be looking for scratches etc on my pins! AHHHHH

NOTE: I have perfected the scratch-proof toss, so all is good!

As to the clean pin book.....two cats and a dog that sheds a pound worth of hair per day....ehhh there is no such thing as a CLEAN book in my house!

You know, this post is so jumbled people will think you, ED, wrote it! Aahahahahhahhahhahh I crack myself up

 <~~~Lynnie pre Pin Event

OMG! You are driving my allergies nuts just thinking of these animals!

Intersting how each person organizes the pins differently ... I pretty much have them in numerical order by pinpics number :). I never thought to do it by parks!

How does everyone else organize their collection?

I actually do have a semi system. I do it by racks (WDW together, Disney store together, DL together, etc) then if I seem to have bunch of one kind (Like toy story or a princess) I put them together. Then LE's going from higher edition numbers to lower. Then htf pins regardless of edition size. Then only pins I will trade with ED. hahahhahahaha

Judith,
don't let them fool you. Pinpics number order is the best way to keep them organized! Yes, you will be scorned and laughed at, but it's the only way I know to keep my pinpics current.
Another pinpics ordered collector

I'm sure Figgy will be glad to learn how we organize our pins!!

One binder for Open Edition/Rack

One binder for LE

One binder for DA/P.I.N.S.

All are arranged in order of Pinpics trading value, i.e. for LE, they start with the lowest LE edition size, and progress up to highest LE size, with their Pinpics trading numbers labeled on them (how many trading vs. how many want); rack pins are organized by Pinpics with the pins that have the least amount of people trading coming first, progressing to the pins that have the most people trading. Same system for the DA pins--lowest LE size up to highest, (so, 100, 250, 500 and 1000) also labeled according to how many trading/how many want.

Lots of time involved, but the only way I can trade, LOL!!
