AHHH My boilers broke

Hi All

Can't believe my boiler is broken again. Second time in 2 years. The guy from british gas came on Friday but has had to order a part and is coming back Monday. I've not a single drop of hot water. Fed up of cold showers now What a choice - i can be smelly or an icicle

At least it hasn't happened in winter.

Toolhire shops sometimes have small Burco type boilers to hire by the day or there's specialist boiler hire places. Probably not much good if Brit gas are going to fix it on Monday though.

You could always go swimming and have your showers there.

Thats the drawback of the combi boiler....at least with the old type you had the electric immersion heater (£££!) to fall back on if your boiler packed up.

You could always go round to family/friends and get a shower there ~ Through yourself on their mercy and they might feed you as well.

Hi All

Well it's fixed thank goodness. DH spent the week going to the gym and having a shower there so is a bit tried now from too many workouts. I spent the last few days boiling the kettle!!

I'm all wrinkly now from my verrrrrrrry looooonnnnggg shower !
