Ahhh...a day off...what should I do???

So many things to accomplish today...
take a shower
see Shrek 2
go tanning
(maybe buy a lip gloss or 2. heheheh)
hit the mall? (Gap gift card burning a hole in my pocket!)
clean the house

I love having my fridays off in the summer!

naw - there's a method to my madness...have to go to a wedding tomorrow night, so i'm getting a manicure tomorrow morning...don't want to ruin the nails cleaning, so tomorrow is a 'do nothing day' after the nails are done.

and sunday is laundry day...I could get the house cleaned tonight PDQ...especially since DH will be out of the house! (I'm one of those freaks that likes to clean)

oh - and it's supposed to be NICE out today! yeah! low 80's!

Today is a day off for me too. I am taking my nephew to Sesame Place and the weather now looks awful--foggy, and scattered storms and T-storms approaching.

I never learn. Every time I plan a day to do something outside, it rains. If your state is having a drought, just invite me to a picnic.

I have today off too and just finished picking up the house.....DCherubs are all at school so there is nothing to clean up in their wake! Dishes are done, I guess I could do dusting or clean bathrooms but instead I will take a shower and shave my legs.....now that is luxury with no one walking in saying Mooommmm he blah blah blah blah blah! I'm going to go get my hair trimmed and then catch up on some paperwork and take a nap in the sun! Enjoy yur day off stinerbelle!

I can't believe we are almost in single digits. I've had 4 tanning sessions alreadly and still don't have any color
I need this vacation so badly it's incredible. Stressful year!!!

I'm already showered and ready to jet in 30 minutes (I can't STAND sleeping late sometimes...feel like I miss too much of the day, was up at the crack of 6:30 this morning (normally get up at 5:30)).

See - DH and I haven't started our family yet (we just got married in september) I LIKE shaving my legs every day...I guess that's just another thing I'll have to go without? heheh

hmmm...buy more lip glosses or diapers....hehehe

what kind of lotion are you using? buy one with a bronzer or 'tan accelerator' in it...might help you snag some color a bit faster.

ok - have to share with you all!

My morning was great...went to the mall and did some damage at Gap - hehe...love the stuff out right now!

Then I went to the Noon showing of Shrek...there were MAYBE 20 people there...got myself a bucket-o-popcorn (plastic and had shrek on it) and a large diet soda. I actually REALLY enjoyed being at the movie by myself! No one to fight over the popcorn/soda with.

Puss in Boots was great...but the Fairy Godmother just cracked me up - Jennifer Saunders from Ab Fab...too stinkin' funny.

Now I'm all stinky from tanning...gonna chill at the dis for a bit, then clean the house. fun fun!

Wow you were lucky to be off today. I too want to see Shrek @, but DH has no interest. Maybe my daughter (23) will go with me.

Doing the wash tonite, as tommorrow have to be up at 6:00 so we can get to a dance competition by 8:00 that our studio is competing in. Wish us luck everyone. My DD is in 7 numbers, and she said she was cutting back LOL. Just a prelude to our Recital week first week of June, then Dancing at the Magic Kingdom tommorrowland stage on June 30th.
