You really did give me a big smile, I just wish I had some cruise photos to make an example with, now I WANT ONE!
I am guessing that the pillow cases started off as a few favors, then word got out and it just became to much work. I think that this way the pillow cases may be a little more personal, even if they don't get them until AFTER the cruise.

Me regarding the fact that they no longer accept pillow cases at guest services:
"Better yet, feeding off of natdencro's idea of photos, when you get home you can print out those pictures (if they are digital of course) onto iron on transfers, then iron them onto a pillow case! That was a little light bulb I just had. I can imagine that becoming a REALLY cute scrapbook that you kids can look at every night before they lay on it and dream about their Disney cruise! A little bit of work? Yes... but I can imagine it becoming a great keepsake! Plus then you are not just limited with characters, you cen put pictures of the ship, your child with their favorite cms, etc."

Check your e-mail for a Disney surprise. Enjoy. Your idea about the time it takes the characters to sign the pillowcases sounds reasonable.

I still think the idea of putting a favorite cruise picture on a pillowcase is creative and will create a lasting treasure.

I have a Disney pillowcase that is well over25 years old, if not 35. Iplan on taking it with me next year regardless of the fact that people have said no pillowcase signing, I will beg, plead and bribe to get it signed. Besides I can only imagine the look of astonishment when I show my Mom and sisters the pillowcase on the cruise, I am sure that they will remember it fondly, I am positive I got it as a hand-me-down, being the youngest sister and all!
