AGT tonight...did I miss something??

Just watched the results show tonight and at the end they brought out Alice, the guy who sang, and Antonia Restivo (who all won their groups and are moving on to the semi's) but they also brought out Ascendance??

I rewound and rewatched the whole hour and NEVER saw them award Ascendance a spot. What happened?? Isn't the show live?

I haven't watched it yet, but I thought they were breaking up the top 48 into groups of 12 and each week, 4 acts get sent through?

If Ascendance was the 4th act, then it was the judges pick. But again, I haven't seen tonights show yet.

Ascendance was awarded the first spot over the large dance group and the strong guy (?).

I know how the show works, but I don't recall them showing the group with Ascendance in it...I assume the Bollywood group was in that grouping but didn't see them either, or Ronith,.

Did they award the first spot within the first 5/10 minutes?? My DVR cut off the very beginning (started a bit before the Kaa dudes came on) but they were right near the top of the show. I must've missed the first elimination group.

Couldn't tell ya. I just kept flipping back and forth until I saw Michael Grimm was up with his group. I like a lot of the tlaent, but he is the ONLY reason I am tuned in this season His voice and his story just make my heart melt!

Ascendance got their spot first. They were in the group with the Bollywood dancers and Ronith I believe.
