I would like to know if they check against your reservation at your hotel your children's ages. I have a 11 , 9, and 5. My 11 year old is a diabetic and is mental handicapped and she will not eat off the adult menu. So I didn't know if when you make adr for resturants or dinner show if they check your reservation. I don't mind paying extra for the food as long as it is from the kids menus.

I would think that would fall under special dietary needs.....and maybe when I made the reservations I would say that one of my children may need to order off the children's menu as part of her special dietary needs.

Unless you're on the DDP, anyone can order off the kids menu. My BIL is a picky eater and ordered the kids chicken strips everywhere we went a few years ago. You will be charged adult price for the 11yr old at the buffets.

I agree that you should mention this when you make your adr's, it cetainly can't hurt :goodvibes

Definitely mention it to the CM! Disney is very accomodating when it comes to dietary needs/requests, so you will probably be delightfully surprised at the meal attention you receive. :)

Dining reservations are not in any way linked to your resort reservations. So your children's ages won't be checked against anything.

But if you are on DDP your card will show three adult and two children. Otherwise there is no difference. And an "adult" may order from a children's menu, but if on DDP will be charged an adult credit.
