My nephew will be 2 months shy of being 5 when we sail. My DS will be 6. Will we have problem having them in the same age group?

You shouldn't have a problem with this. The CM's are very accomodating with these situations. All you have to do is ask

The normal groupings are 3-4 and 5-7. However, since both kids will be in the club, they are rather flexible. You might consider starting them in their age appropriate groups and moving one if that isn't working for you.

The key is to talk to the counsellors. THey really do care about your children's happiness and comfort (as well as yours!)

I will try and help save CM_Mom's typing fingers but answering what she would most likely answer.

The CMs in the club and lab are very accomidating and are there to make sure you and your children have a magical and wonderful vacation. Just talk to the CMs and tell them you situation and they will most likely allow your five year old to move up on a trial basis. However the CMs will not allow a child to go back and forth, so he/she may say go with the 3-4's for one activity, then to the 5-7s for another, and then go back to the 3-4s.

I think Yoda left out the "Not" in that last sentence. Children can NOT go with 3-4s for one activity and 5-7s for the next. You have to pick a group and stick with it for security reasons. This also helps the CMs get to know your children better since the CMs for 3-4s and 5-7s are different.

You shouldn't have a problem. TALK to the CMs.
